The body of this twist pen comes from a pecan tree that was removed from Mount Vernon in 2014 due to risks of the tree damaging the mansion.
The tree is believed to have been planted approximately 60 years after George Washington’s death and was about 154 years old before it was removed.
I beautifully historic piece that looks as unique as the story it holds.
Comes with a certificate of authenticity
Uses a Parker style ink refill.
