This body of this pen is made using original oak from the HMS Victory, the only surviving warship to have fought in both the American War of Independence and the French Revolutionary wars.
The HMS Victory’s keel was initially laid in July of 1759, was launched in May of 1765, and was commissioned in 1778. It was constructed from 600 trees, a large majority of which were English oak.
This beautiful, one of a kind pen is a stunning example of naval history, and is a perfect gift for a nautical historian or war history buff!
